A set of two Conrail railroad uniform lapel pins. Please note that you are offerding on the exact proper set that is shown here, one left and one right. Along with freight operations Conrail inheritedthe commuter rail operations of the CNJ, Erie Lackawanna, Reading, and Penn Central Railroads. They operated passenger trains for only a short time, from April 1, 1976 to December 31, 1982, after which the passenger trains were turned over to SEPTA, NJ Transit, MARC and Metro North Railroad. These appear to have been sued, but are in excellent conditon complete with the two mounting pins and caps for the back of each one. A nice item for any Conrail, commuter rail, or railroad uniform collector.
