.A substantial heavy gauge pair of silver shoe buckles by Jason Holt of Exeter . Chapes and prongs missing and replaced by thin removablewires. Well worn, and two of the journals are cracked but stable – see photos of back.
Marked on the rear of the frames with the an Exeter Lion Passant, and Jason Holts script mark of c 1770, plus original owners initials of WD.
Size 72mm by 60mm – good curvature.Weight approx 108 grams
