Pair of NEW 4x4 inch Linear Polarizing Filters - Twin 3d projection FILM DIGITAL:
$19.95

For Twin 2x2, Digital, or other types of Linear Polarized Stereo Projection Pair of NEW 4x4 inch Linear Polarizing Filters
(0.7mm thick)

You can use these new polarizing filters for 2x2x2 stereo projection (put them in front of the lenses of two single projectors, either film or digital)

Or you can cut them to shape for other projectors or projection arrangements.

Note: I already have TDC and View-Master polarizers in my store.

They are made from a very good material with excellent extinction. They come in a pair of 4x4 inch squares. You will need to remove the protective paper backing before using them.

NOTE: These are LINEAR polarized filters!

(Personally, I prefer linear polarization for severalreasons and this is still the standard among amateur stereo photographers)

One question in many people\'s mind is \"how do I know if I need new filters or not?\" All plastic polarizing filters deteriorate through time and under the intense heat of the light bulbs. If you notice \"ghosting\" then it is possible that you need new filters (note: ghosting can be caused by other factors like the screen or the photographic emulsion of the film - ghosting means that the left eye sees part of the right image and the right eye sees part of the right image, i.e. the polarization is not good).

Here is a simple test anyone can do to test polarizing filters. Cross the filter with a pair of viewing polarizing glasses until it gets as dark as possible and look at a bright light source, such as a panel of fluorescent lights. If the picture is overall dark (deep blue, as in the left picture above) then the filters are good. If the picture is light then the filters are no good. Notice that in the picture on the right, polarization is reduced in the area heated by the light, vs. the one covered by the metal holder. I have done this test above for the polarizers of the TDC projector but the idea is the same for any polarizing material (including viewing glasses)

I hope you enjoy stereo projection as much as I do... I carry a variety of projection related products in my store, like glasses and other polarizing filters. If you have any questions, feel free to email.

I welcome offers outside of theUSA!
