Pair of Rare Antique Cobalt/ Blue/ Sapphire Glass Whale Oil Lamps ca. 1860:

Deep cobalt blue cut-to-clear sandwich glass. Both glass oil fonts are in pristine condition. Doric column stems. Double marble bases with brass moldings. 5x5 inches base. 5.5 inches diameter glass fonts. 15 inches tall. Fits threaded 7/8 inch ID burner. Approx. 5.5 pounds each lamp.
The outside edges of the marble blocks do show minor wear consistent with age, but are not readily visible.

I placed the marking tape in the wrong locations; these lamps have NEVER been electrified; no holes in the bases. I just added an additional pic to clarify. Apologies for my oversight . . .
