For sale in this LOT is an exceptionally rare original pair of fauxmarble effect columns dated 1880. These are a wonderful example of 19thcentury decorative display items that would have originally had either plants,statues or ornaments placed on them. Both these items show a very detailed andaccurate representation of Rosa Verona marble pattern. Both items show anauthentic and aged look, they are both structurally secure and would make greatdisplay items with an element of antique Italian elegance.

These items show scratches andfading of colour due to age and use, the colour is still strong and thestructure is still secure and firm, overall in good condition.
