A gorgeous pair of delicate victorian repousse silver heart shaped boxes with gold washed interiors.
Decorated with forget-me-nots and tiny cupids and with pie crust edges they are perfect for wedding rings or matching gifts. The lids are hinged and solid. Victorian with a beautiful patina, gently worn, commensurate with age. Please see photos. Hallmarked for Birmingham.
So unusual to find a pair.Recently cleaned and restored at the Silver Vaults in London.
