Two One Pound Cans!

Up for sale is a Pair of Vintage “Maxwell House Coffee” Advertising Tins! These vintage tin cans are both for One Pound of Regular Grind Maxwell House coffee. This coffee was made by the General Foods Corp. in White Plains, New York. One can advertises “New! No-Key Flavor Tight Vacuum Can!” since it is an early 1960s transition can, and the other is from the mid- to late-1960s! Both coffee cans include their signature slogan “Good to the Last Drop”. They do have plastic lids, but these are not original to the cans. As shown in the photos, the tins are in good to very good condition for their age with nice bright colors and details. They do have some small scratches, marks, dings or dents, soiling and oxidation that you would expect for such old tin cans. The older “No-Key” can has noticeable paint splatter and surface soiling on the outside as well as rusting (mostly inside) since it was a work-bench can. The tin cans measure about 4” diameter x 5½” tall. These vintage Maxwell House coffee advertising tins would make a great addition to your collection!
