A pair of snails, perhaps mother and her baby of beautiful Cloisonne work commissioned by the Smithsonian and made in China.
They are a wonderful pair of brightly colored intricately designed Art Work..
Looking closely at the pictures, you can see that the backs are removable on both snails. The face of each is cute and charming.
The wire is gold colored around each area of enameling.
The larger snail is 5 inches in length, 2 & 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches tall.
Baby snail is 3 inches long, 1 & 1/2 inches wide and tall.
They are in their original box and have been well cared for. You will enjoy these as a new addition to your collection.
