A gorgeous pair of vintage pillowcases, hand embroidered in a stunning pattern with flowers & birds. The embroidery is superb, with a variety of thick stitches. The colors are vivid & very bright. The pattern has multiple flowers on vines in colors of deep red, orange, purple & a salmon shade of pink. The flowers run along a deep green vine with many leaves on it. There are 2 adorable bluebirds on each case. The birds are done in a deep blue with yellow accents. The birds & flowers are all filled in with thick, heavy stitching. The pattern runs along the entire length of the bottom of each case. The edges are slightly scalloped & have embroidered white rows going all around front & back, with a thin row of pink on the very tips of this crochet. The rest of the cases are in a bright white & they are perfect- no spots or stains or any other flaws. The pillowcases each measure 28\" long x 19.5\" across. They are both in mint vintage condition.
