It is dedicated to Baroque, the architectural style originating in late 16th-centuryItalyand distinguished by strong curves, rich decoration and general complexity.
The excellently decorated obverse of this Palau coin represents image of the baroque-style Zwinger Palace in Dresden, Germany. It is enriched with a red stained glass pane according to the Tiffany glass tradition. There is also a stylized composition including a shield with Neptune holding his trident, a mermaid by his side and an open treasure chest.
Struck in impressive detail thanks to micro engraving in high relief, the reverse pictures the other side of the Zwinger Palace and comprises the same red Tiffany-style glass pane breathing life into the whole antique-finish coin design.
