Parker 51 Mark I Flighter Fountain Pen (c. 1951), Steel Cap/Barrel, Gold-Filled Trim (Band/Clip), Deluxe Aerometric Filler, Smooth Fine 14K Nib. This pen is flawless except for light normal wear above the hood where the steel cap slides over the steel barrel. No damages to this pen of any kind.
Cap - clean and flawless, jewel on end of cap is bright, clean. Sometimes called the wedding band, the gold band is bright and shows no brassing, the clip is bright, shows no brassing, a very clean classic pen.
Barrel - clean, no damage of any kind,no dents or dings.
Hood - clean and undamaged, very light if any wear.
Aerometric Filler - without flaws or damage of any kind, bright, chrome deluxe filler. Fills perfectly.
Nib and feed - all correct and undamaged, strong iridium and the pen writes a butter smooth fine (leans medium) line.
This pen has been restored and comes ready to fill and write. A classic pen in superb restored condition.
