Parker Retirement set in Box.On offer here is a Very scarce boxed Parker Retirement set. Comprising of a Fountain Pen & Ball Point Pen.

These sets were first introduced in June 1978 and were given exclusively to retiring Parker employees.

The caps and barrels of this special-edition set are made of brass, which is first gold plated, then antiqued to bring out the texture.

On the cap of each writing instrument is a small plaque which reads, \"IN APPRECIATION\" and George Parker\'s signature.

Both cap bands are marked P A R K E R and then inscribed with the retirees name.

The fountain pen is fitted with a reversible 14 Ct solid gold nib marked X/M for Extra fine/Medium. Filling is by a cartridge or converter.

The condition of this set is Mint, showing no dings, dents or plating loss. It looks to have never been used.

This set will be supplied with a slim Parker converter, two Parker ink cartridges and the original (working) ball pen refill.

It will also be supplied with its original velvet lined wooden box and will be very securely packed for shipping,
