Parry Vieille (P.V.) is one of thePremier Makers of hand paintedporcelain Limoges boxes. There are only a handful of Premier makers,defined as thosethat createandhand-paintthese boxes from start to finish. The PVmanufacturermark is proof of authenticity.
This little elephant measures just 2\" high on an oval 2\" x 1.5\" base. The elephant clasp snaps closed securely and an acacia tree is hand painted inside. There are no defects - this box is in perfect condition, no marks, chips or loss of color. On the bottom is the Parry Vieille (P.V.) hallmark along with the words \"peint main\", meaning hand painted.
