I am offering a very unusual and guaranteed Original embossed tin sign with Pathe Phonograph advertising. The Pathe company was formed in the 1890\'s and made phonographs through the 1920\'s. Their moniker was a rooster, which is on their phonographs and their record labels. He was to Pathe what Nipper was to Victor. This sign was for the Duncanson Brothers located in Hillsboro and Lynchburg, Ohio. I do not know the exact date of this sign, but a quick Google search found an ad from the Hillsboro, OH newspaper, The News Herald dated 1913 showing an advertisement for the company offering phonographs for sale. This sign is in very good condition and I have shown some closeup photos of the worst spots. Overall the colors are bright and the sign is very straight. The sign by itself measures about 27-1/2\" x 9-1/2\". The outside of the frame measures about 30-1/2\" x 12-1/2\". The frame is new and can be easily removed if not wanted. The sign was not altered in any way to fit in the frame. I think it presents the image better than without the frame. Shipping will be a fixed $20 insured to anywhere in the Continental USA. Thanks for looking and Good Luck.
