PENNSYLVANIA STATE SERVICE MEDAL FOR 1940 FLOODS, EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION:
$24.00
This is a very interesting Pennsylvania Medal for Service in the Floods of 1940. It is a somewhat scarcer medal than the medal for the 1936 Floods, and this one is in really exceptional condition, on its original brooch and ribbon. It has a handsome bust of Benjamin Franklin on the obverse, and the reverse bears a rampant lion, which I believe is from the Penn family coat of arms. This medal is in virtually perfect condition, with no flaws or wear whatsoever. It would be difficult to find a better condition example of this medal.
