A Peking rug is a Chinese design rug, hand-woven in Japan.It was introduced after World War II and is very much like the antique Chineserugs. An excellent quality of wool is used. The warp and weft is cotton. Dyesare excellent chrome dyes, permitting a very light lime washing. It is a goodmedium pile rug, and quite durable. The softness of the colors used in theserugs makes them go well with both modern as well as antique furnishings.

Good condition! No odor. Sides and ends original. Contains a small stain - as shown in pictures.
