Unusual Hand Made Art Glass Sommerso Perfume Bottle Signed M Williams 1992 DescriptionFOR SALE is this beautifully hand made Art Glass Perfume Bottle by renowned Australian Artist, Maureen Williams who has signed and dated the base 1992. Designed in the Sommerso style, shows a beautiful green glass swimming over a clear glass base. It is an unusual shape where the sides are raised up on each side. The top is also unusual as it is raised on the outer sides and inverted in the middle. Maureen Williams as an artist designs her items to depict nature and this bottle looks like some precious jewell that would be found on the sea bed. When you examine the bottle you realise how amazing it is as the body of the bottle is emerald green but has this clear glass base surrounding, however, when you turn it upside down, you cannot see the clear glass, it is all green, a very clever, talented artist. This is a superb piece that would make an amazing addition to any collection, it is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approx 7cm high x 10cm long x 6cm wide. Her work is very expensive to purchase and unfortunately, my price reflects what I paid, it is a fabulous piece. Unfortunately, my photos do not do this piece justice.
