Beautiful Queen Anne Massachusetts or New Hampshire Highboy c.1760-80. Older finish over slightly figured maple, with white pine secondary wood. Very graceful legs and proportion. Back of the top was refinished over the past 30 years, so color looks very different than the back of the base. Probably a married piece, but it is possible it may not be a marriage, and may have been made together. Dovetailed case, large dovetails on the drawers, dovetailed drawer dividers and stiles. Some rosehead nails in case. Both top and bottom are clearly of the period 18th century. Missing one drop.
