Jim I have never owned a slate call where you didn\'t have to look for the sweet spot until I got yours. I\'ve tagged out with it and have called in 2 gobblers with it for my friend. You need to name this call Bad to the Bone because it\'s the best out there....and I know because I have a lot them. Thanks for making such a great call.
This from a customer in the great state of Mississippi. He\'s referring to my #1 seller and my all time favorite. This call is 100% handcrafted by me here in my shop in Elgin, SC. It\'s taken me 20 years to perfect this slate call. This call has won numerous awards, both locally and nationally and is used by some of the topoutfitters and guides in the country. You would be surprised to know the big names in our industry that has this call in their vest. The pot is made from 30-year-old walnut I bought from a guy in Tenn. The deep mined Pennsylvania slate requires very little conditioning. The glass soundboard gives the call one of the best sounds out there. The tone and roll lover are excellent and can play soft or loud. I do send a piece of scotch-brite with the call but I just usually wipe it on my pants leg and keep on calling. You can\'t go wrong with this call. I\'m sending two strikers, a hand-turnedone-piece hickory, and a 2-piece purple heart shotgun shell striker. I guarantee you don\'t have one in your vest that sounds this good.
