Very rare set of U.S. Grant\'s memoirs. Complete volumes I and II. These books were professionally re-bound. Note small nick in the pages on the top of one book as shown in pic 6. Flaws noted: The fly page of each volume has been taped in with clear scotch tape. The foldout letter in volume one is brittle and the letter of surrender in volume 2 is has some tears. Overall very nice set. Antique book set, purchased in 1994. Never taken off shelf since. Remember, this is a 130 year old book so it is not perfect.
