Description: Hard copy, half-bound leather, cloth over boards - Marbled page edges & end papers - – Illustrated with a few portraits and maps – Vol 1 - 584 pages / Vol 2 - 647 pages

Condition: used,good - leather shows scrubbing at spine ends, raised spine ribs and corners - Vol 2 has a small tear in the leather at top front corner of spine and a chip missing from the leather along the fore-edge of the back board right next to the pages - boards show wear and some scrubbing along the edges - sound binding - no internal markings or names - good sound copy for the age.
