Peter McDougall Small Spaced Complex Millefiori Paperweight. Peter McDougall design consisting of 19 different complex millefiori canes over an almost opaque black ground. The pattern can be called a concentric, but most collectors would refer to this as a spaced millefiori design. A crisp design with perfect execution. It is signed on the bottom with a complex cane made from four separate letter canes forming the signature PMcD and also has a paper label \"PMcD Glass Studio LTD, Handmade in Crieff Scotland.\"

Small Size: Just over 2 1/8” diameter by just over 1 1/2” high.
Condition: Excellent condition with no scratches, chips or cracks.
Signature: Signed with a complex cane on the bottom and it also has a paper label \"PMcD Glass Studio LTD, Handmade in Crieff Scotland.\"
Execution: Perfect execution.

The pictures do not do justice to this paperweight. Ignore the white areas, they are glare from the lights.

Peter McDougall made high quality glass paperweights at his own glass studio, PMcD Glass Studio Ltd. in Crieff, Scotland from 2002 until early 2012. He started his glassmaking career as an apprentice at Strathearn Glass in Crieff, Scotland back in the 1960s. When Perthshire was formed in 1968, he left Strathearn to move to Perthshire and worked there in many positions, eventually becoming Manager and Chief Glassmaker. Perthshire Paperweights closed early in 2002 after the death of the owner Neil Drysdale.
