This generous sized Peterboro Basket Company 4-piece color weave basket set includes the basket, protective plastic liner, wrought-iron decorative stand, and the hunter green stained wood lid/cover with the natural knob. The square basket with flared sides feature a hunter green and burgundy color weave. The basket is in excellent condition and prominently displays the oval Peterboro brass medallion on the front which reads: Peterboro Basket Co. MFGRS. Since 1854, along with Made in USA. This basket features the honey-colored stain. The basket has a 7\" squared base, is 5 1/4\" tall, with a top diameter of 10\" as it flares toward the top/sides. The wooden lid also has a 10\" diameter and features a beautiful rustic hunter green stain, with a natural knob. The lid shows wear to include scratches,primarilyto the sides and underside/interior with a bit of roughness to areas that are rubbed. The plastic insert is a protector for the basket, and mimics the weave pattern of the basket. It has some rough spots to the rim, otherwise intact. The elegant decorative metal stand is perfect, and measures 14\" at widest point, is 5\" tall, the diameter at the top is 10.5\". The total weight of this set is over 3-lbs.
