Wonderfully fine example of the all original Pfeffer Porzellen workmanshipin the making ofthis porcelain character dog figurine, Bonzo,that gained attention andpopularityduring the 20's and 30's,originally createdby George Studdy. This delightfuldog has the quality and vintage charm, with his laughing and thoroughly enjoying his belly being tickledby a crawling bug. Absolutely darling hard to come by addition for any collector of the Art Deco era or a fan of George Studdy.
The dog is 2 1/2" long, 2 1/2" height and 2" wide. The bug is metal. Hallmark number 5697.
Excellent vintage condition with minor paint loss. In need of light cleaning, which will be left to the new owner. You will not be disappointed.
