I have a nice Phillipson Paragon Fly Rod for sale. This is a 4 piece rod which includes 2 tips. The bamboo on this rod is in very good condition with no splits or delaminating. The grip is ingood condition with no gouges. Reel seat and ferrules are nickel silver and in great condition. It is labeled 69 81/2-5 HDH. It is best using a 5 wt. line. There are some issues with this rod as I have tried to point out in the pictures posted. Please note: One tip is only 25 3/4\" long while all the other sections are 34 1/2\" long. There are 2 eyes missing on the center section. the stripping guide on the butt section is there but only one side is under the wrapping. And lastly, the top of the rod case has a split but it does not keep the cap from screwing on the case. It also comes with a rod sock but I am not sure if it is original to the rod or not. Please note all these issuesin the pics or ask me questions you may have concerning this rod. With a little restoration, this rod will make a great stream rod for your use.
