Pierre Jules Mene (Fr, 19th Century) French

 A early 19th century French bronze plaque beautifully representing a hunting game bird bag with a Snipe and duck hanging by their necks. A raw and realist depiction, circa 1865 with a rich dark brown to black patina with wear commensurate of age and use. This item is one of a pair not included.
