On offer here is a lovely Pierre de Clausade (French 1910-1976) work, titled \'Les Roseaux. Loire\' executed in 1973, 3 years before his death, or 63 years after his birth, depending on how you look at it .. either way, it is typical of his iconic style ..

signed lower left

visible painting: 44cm x 53cm

with frame: 54cm x 63cm

titled & dated verso

in very good condition, the pleasing frame is in good order & ready to hang .. the only notable defect is two small \'bruises\' in the centre bottom quarter of the canvas (see pics) .. these are not obvious or major blemishes in our opinion .. some brown streaking in the centre right of the painting (in the sky - see pics) is we suspect colouration in the varnish applied to the painting ..
