VINTAGE RETRO HAND MADE WOOD SEWING TURTLE PIN CUSHION. It is so neat and speaks so much of how we lived a few years back. He is so precious. Pin cushion area is done in a gold upholstery type material and trimmed with a gold braid. His eyes appear to be some type of unusual tacks or nails possibly an upholstery type tack. There are a few surface issues but nothing major for an item this old. The wonderful thing about this little TURTLE is he can still be used today to hold our safety pins, straight pins and HAT PIN COLLECTIONS. You could also make him a JEWELED TURTLE by covering his back with a BROOCH COLLECTION.
