This vintage Plum Blossoms Chinese black silk embroidered floral bird coat dates from the 1960s. It is made of a black silk satin fabric background, with colorful silk raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work and tiny peking french knot accents. There are a variety of embroidered flowers and birds covering the entire coat. This magnificent mid length long coat style robe has a high mandarin collar neckline, long full sleeves, front slit pockets and black silk knotted button loop toggles for closure down the front. It is fully lined, with a \"Plum Blossoms Made in China\" label.
It is in excellent wearable condition. This is a wonderful piece of wearable Chinese textile art!
