Very Rare 1945 Polish Army Jacket / Tunic for sale.No dates or stamps can be found anywhere in this garment but the original seller (from Kołobrzeg) informed me (back in 1995) it is the original model adopted by the Polish People\'s Army (Ludowe Wojsko Polskie) LWP in 1945.The Jacket is the same cut as pre-war and wartime Polish uniforms with four pockets I believe this is called a Wz.36/43 tunic. The material is very tough but has faded in places (see photos). There are very small tears around some of the buttons, all of which are present (with the exception of one epaulette which has been replaced). Buttons show an uncrowned \'Piast\' communist eagle and are metal. There is a green / blue piping around the cuffs, collar and epaulettes. The collar has some discolouration that may have been caused by rust (could have been insignia there, but that\'s my speculation). The collar is secured by a loop and hook which has a little rust on it.Size is quite small. Happy to get a tape measure out if anyone\'s interested.Grab a rare and historically interesting item of uniform.
