Details:This sale is for the rare vintage Poole Pottery Delphis Vase,made in England in early 1970s. The Delphis, Aegean,Traditional Shape 32 was produced in early 1970s. The stunning vase is handpainted by Poole artist JUDY EVENS in vibrantyellow to orange, featuring abstract futuristic black and green pattern. Judy Evens worked for Poole only fora short period of time 1974-76, that makes her work very rare and desirable bycollectors.

Poole Pottery was a pottery manufacturer based in Poole, Dorset, England. Thecompany was founded in 1873 on Poole quayside, where it continued to producepottery by hand before moving its factory operations away from the quay in1999. Production continued at the new site until its closure in 2006.Historical products from Poole Pottery are displayedin the Victoria and Albert museum in London.

The bottom of the vase has the identifying mark ofthe POOLE, England, 32 (the shape number) and JUDYEVENS (1974-76) artist sypher.

Measurements:The vase measures approx. 4.7\" tall, 7.5\" wide.

Condition:The Poole Pottery Squat Vase is in very good condition. There is insignificantproduction imperfection: one spot of bubbly glaze on inside wall close to thebottom, not visible from the outside when on display.
