For your consideration, I am offering this exquisite, antique, hand painted gold gilding and flowers on white porcelain Bombonniere possibly by the Rosenthal Porcelain Factory and made in Germany ....

This lovely porcelain Bombonniere pedestal covered dish features swirls, paisley and gold flowers in gold on the exterior with gilt gold rococo edging supported by four lions conforming on a square marble and metal base..

Stands 6 inches tall exclusive of lid, 7.75 inches from top finial to base, 5 inches rococo edge diameter with a 4 inches interior rim diameter ...Base is 4 1/8 inches square..The four metal lions are 2 1/8 inches high...Bottom of metal base states GM 3117.

Light signs of Previous use should be expected consistent with age and previous ownership...I see damage on the interior band shown in picture #5 damage to the lid is not noticeable on the exterior of lid or ...The flaws are not detrimental to the biscuit jar and is only mentioned for accuracy!

This certainly is not a original piece, must be a German / French / Italian porcelain reproduction Bombonniere..Doing research I did find one without the metal base and had the newer Rosenthal mark on bottom and made in Germany..
