David sculpts in fine English bone porcelain. The flower making is very complex and being 95% hand orientated, very few moulds are used. Most parts of the flowers are completely made by hand. this may involve hundreds and even thousands of separate parts. The resulting small variations in shape assures each sculpture is unique.

To be the best, the highest degree of excellence must be achieved. It is far easier to make this claim than it is to prove the fact. Again, there must be an unyielding commitment to quality, the one thing that will set it apart from the commonplace. Based on this idea the collectors will pass their critical judgements. David’s name alone does not stand the burden of proof - the art must - and does.

His editions average 1- 5 each and rarely up to 15 so you can see how important it is to reserve your selection immediately.

Most of David’s designs are spoken for as soon as he conceives an idea.

The larger part of his porcelain flowers are being purchased by museums all over the world. Indeed some private museums are being built just to showcase his porcelain.

David’s specialty is flowers but he also does birds and large animals.

David’s studio is at the foot of the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire, England.

David was, at one time, the head of ornamental designs at Royal Worcester Porcelain, where several of his porcelains were presented to members of the Royal Family. In 1992 David was commissioned by Buckingham Palace to portray Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II mounted on Centennial, her favorite exercise horse.

David Fryer\'s attention to detail is exacting.

Because of the delicate nature of David’s porcelain, they can be picked up at the Gazebo by the collector or the Gazebo will hand deliver to your home.

Porcelain is custom made and availability ranges 10 to 12 weeks. Extremely large porcelains can,on occasion, take longer.
