How could a doll artist create a doll with so much love and attention to detail, and not sign her anywhere? Cannot locate any mold number on the head/neck or information about this little girl (unless it\'s on her feet. I\'ve never removed her socks and shoes...) No tags in herclothing either. (heavy sigh)She displayed well with my Zwergnase children.Someone said the doll reminded her of a Laura Scattolini - who is an incredible artist who creates absolute masterpieces sculptingcernit.She\'s always been a joy because of her realism. She measures 28\" tall, with a porcelain head, neck, breastplate, arms to the elbows and legs to below theknees on a cloth stuffed body. I suspect she was made with one of those plastic armature doll skeletons? She poses so easily. Her character face is just adorable. She has freckles, vibrant blue eyes with upper lashes, painted lower lashes, and teeth! Such a sweetheart. Her strawberry blond hair is styled in a wonderful, long French braid. Strands of hair are intentionally loose - fitting with the casual look she exhibits.
Her outfit consists of an ivory dress of crinkled silk(?) with lace trimmed hem, and fabulous tiny glass beads and embroidery at the neckline. The long sleeves fasten with faux pearl buttons. The pinafore in cranberry with gold stars may be reversible, but I couldnever figure it out. Beneath her dress, she wears warm ivoryleggings, and cranberry color knit socks. Those awesome suede boots help her stand unassisted, but she\'s always had the support of a doll stand for safety. Her hat features a sage ribbon with bow, roses, baby\'s breath, and snow decorated green leaves.
Displayed in a smoke free, pet free home. Thank you for visiting. Questions??
