These two small Lieut.\'s bars measure 3/4\" long so they are the size worn during the Civil War. I had these made up when I was reenacting. They originally had studs on the back and I had a jeweler put the pins on them and gold plate on them. These are perfect for a late war officer\'s impression to be worn on the collar.
