Engraved with the distinctive Busch script logo. Made by Emil Busch Company in Rathenow, Germany, which folded in 1945. Could be vintage (1935-45) or could be antique (pre-1930 back to 1945 when Busch took over the company from his uncle.) Busch A.G. was a prolific camera lens and binocular maker, my research indicates only rare examples of magnifying glasses. The specimen offered is about 3.5 inches in diameter, and very thick, about 5/8 inch thick. It is brass bound, with black enamel on the brass and the wooden handle.
