Vintage Silver CoinsWow! This sale is for one of several AMAZING lots of vintage and antique coins I have listed this week – all from the same local woman! The woman collected coins starting in the 1930s right up until 1964 and she apparently worked at some kind of church donation center, from what I can tell, and she grabbed every coin she could when people would come in with change. She only collected coins as a means to save money and she had no idea or care to figure out value of individual coins. I am no coin expert and am selling the lots as I found them – I only separated them by type or denomination and just confirmed each one was before 1965 and therefore silver so there could be some sleepers in here. I know if I tell you these lots are unsorted you’ll probably be suspicious, but they truly are – they are as I found them under the stairs in the basement in coffee cans.

There are a total of 327 coins plus or minus 5 or so and they range in condition from uncirculated to badly worn. Really a nice collection!
