Here is a pre-Columbian pottery tripod leg bowl that has the rattle legs. I think this is probably from Costa-Rica. This is a bit better than any of the examples I could find, it has four figures and then impressed decorative lines on the sides. It also has a nice turned lip and then the rattle legs of coarse are neat. There is a little ding on the lip, which looks to be very old, otherwise this is in fine condition. You can see the dark marks from the primitive firing technique employed, which is always nice to see. This measures approx. 2 3/4\" tall and 4\" wide. He sits a little uneven. This came out of an estate of a 95 year old man who was a world traveler, so it was collected long ago. Really, probably one of the finer examples you will see, worthy of an advanced collector.
