Here for the American Girl Doll collector is a GORGEOUS Pre-Mattel American Girl Doll Felicity by Pleasant Company--in GOOD to VERY GOOD used condition! She has the RARE RED hair of the earliest Felicity dolls. She comes with a wardrobe of both AG and non-AG period outfits--in GOOD to NEW condition.
The lettering \"Pleasant Company\" and the copyright sign are stamped on the back her neck, and the artist\'s mark is visible behind her right ear. Long white neck strings are intact. Tan cloth body is immaculate. She has no marks or stains anywhere that I can see. Limbs are tight; she holds a pose and stands easily on her own. Long RARE RED HAIR is soft and shiny and held in place by the original ivory ribbon. She still has some of her spit curls framing her adorable face (a few need retraining.) The ends of her hair are somewhat dry and could use a good conditioning. Long soft reddish brown eyelashes are intact and frame perfect green eyes. Facial coloring is lovely, with a soft blush to her cheeks and lips.
She arrives wearing her Rose Garden Meet Gown, tagged Pleasant Company 1993, white undershirt, long cream colored stockings, replacement black buckle shoes and her meet cap. She also arrives with four additional period outfits--a new replica of her spring pinner gown, a new striped non-AG work gown, her AG tagged nightshift and cap, and a lovely blue non-AG gown with matchingpinner cap (the ribbon on the gown and pinner cap shows some wear.) Both her meet cap and night cap are vintage and have lost much of their elasticity.
American Girl does not make dolls of her quality anymore. A wonderful vintage doll and collection!
