Pre WWI Imperial German Model SG71S M1871 sawback bayonet Seitengewehr, made by W.R.Kirschbaum Solingen and marked on the left ricosso, also unit marked \"E.A.4.23.\" for Eisenbahn-Arbeiter Railway Labor Company 4th Company weapon# 23. Acceptance proof marks on the pommel and on both scabbard mounts, top of blade marked Crown/W/75. Bayonet in nice shape, blade in the white, grip brass with slight patina. The scabbard is in nice condition and has couple of wrinkles, but fits all of the way up on the bayonet. Scabbard is also unit marked with three markings stippled out and final marking \"110.R.R.5.169\" for the 110th Reserve Regiment Recruit Depot 5th Company weapon# 169. In Overall Excellent- condition and a rare bayonet model.
