· Cap: clip is two holes punched out. The holes are elongated.

· Barrel: Inscription \"R. Esterbrook & Co. / Made in U.S.A.\" Excellent inscription

· Date: early 1940s

· Length: 4 3/4\"

·Filling system: Lever filler. The bladder is soft and supple. The lever is springy. This pen is guaranteed to write.

Nib: Early 2668 Medium nib

Condition: Both the cap and barrel have scratches and teeth marks. Thus we are selling this gem at a discount. Please enlarge the pictures. We have tried to show the flaws.

The Esterbrook Dollar pen is very collectible. There were far fewer made than the pens in the J series.
