PRE-PRO Original GRANT\'S CHERRY Whisky TIN Sign, 1900\'s - Turn of the CENTURY !!

This is an authentic original tin sign for Grant\'s Cherry Whisky which was produced by the Thos.Grant & Sons Distillery in Maidstone, England as an advertising piece or pub display sign back in the early 1900\'s.

Sign is really in superior overall condition, a few light scratches and scuffs, some rust here and there, a ding or two, a couple light corner bends- nothing major at all considering the age of the piece, colors are still crisp and vibrant, still retains the original hanging loop which most of these you\'ll find have this broken or rusted away - see all photos below, its a very fine piece and displays well in any bar or rec room setting.

Graphics are superb and one of the best tin litho signs around forsubject content material.

The sign depicts a rather round and rotund looking Mr. Weller Senior gingerly sipping a glass of Whisky along sideSam Pickwick who is leaning on a case of Grant\'s Cherry Whisky with the slogan You\'re right Guvnor - its first rate - if you feel bad it makes you WELLER !!!

Sign is marked WEDEKIND & Co, LONDON, E.C. along the very bottom edge.

Back of sign has a small piece of double-sided tape to keep it from rubbing against the wall, can be easily removed.

Overall width is about 10 inches, height is about 12-1/2 inches

Litho painted tin metal composition.

Its a neat looking pre prohibition saloon or pub sign for sure - don\'t miss out on this one !!!
