For sale we have a pre-prohibition, Bartel\'s \'Nachtwachter\' (night watchman) beer tray. Bartel\'s Brewery was located in Syracuse, NY and in business from 1874-1942. The tray was manufactured by Chas. W. Shonk Co. of Chicago. The tray measures 12\" x 1 1/4\". It\'s in reasonably good shape for it\'s age. It has the remains of a paint ring?, or something of that sort around the inside. It could be the paint was melted and pushed up, because it looks like the paint is still there. Maybe it could be rearranged and flattened out?There are chips on the rim and inside wall. What you see is what you get. I\'ll take returns, but only if I have - in some way - misrepresented the item. Item will be sold to U.S. buyers only.
