Pre-WW1 U.S. Army Blanket 1914 Pattern w/ stripe RARE NAMED:
$60.00

This listing is for an original Pre-WW1 / WW1 blanket. This blanket is the 1914 pattern that would\'ve been used on the Mexican border or in France during WW1. This example is in used but good condition (considering its 100 years old and could\'ve been used in 2 world wars).
the blanket is in good condition overall but does have some small (eraser sized) holes. There are also stains of various sizes and a L shaped tear in the middle of the blanket. Fortunately there isn\'t any material loss and it could be stitched back together (see pictures). Note that the camera flash made the stains look more prominent than they appear in person. The edges are in good shape and are not unravelling or falling apart.
The blanket has two tags, one that has the name \"Shoger\" stitched on it and another that has the name \"Norton Arthur Shoger\" neatly printed on it. A quick online check shows a Norton Arthur Shoger born in Kane County Illinois in 1898 so this was probably the owner in WW1. The manufacturer\'s tag is gone.
Although this is not in pristine condition, it\'s still a nice example of a very hard to find blanket, plus it\'s got excellent research potential. Buyer to pay $12 shipping. Sold as is, no returns.Payment must be made within two days of purchase.
