You are looking at a RARE1928 BABY BRITE composition and cloth doll. She is one of the Life-Like baby dolls by Madame Hendren manufactured by AVERILL MANUFACTURING CO. AVERILL dolls are noted for their artistic innovation and quality of materials.She\'s marked on the back of her neck: \'MADAME HENDREN/DOLL\'
BABY BRITE is in excellent restored condition. She will come to you with a hangtag identifying her a doll restored at DOLL HEAVEN.
BABY BRITE measures 21\" in length and has a head circumference of 14\". Her flange head, full curved arms and legs are made of composition. She has been given a new, clean cloth body with new stuffing.Her crier still makes some squeaks.
BABY BRITE has soft coloring with blush in the ‘right’ places. She has molded hair painted blonde, painted upper and lower eyelashes, and painted eyebrows. She has clear brown sleep eyes that function well, an open mouth with two upper teeth and a felt tongue, slight dimples on each side of the mouth, and the cutest pudgy cheeks.
BABY BRITE is dressed in a lovely outfit made especially for her here at DOLL HEAVEN. It consists of a beautiful long white cotton lawn gown adorned with lace, insertion lace, silk ribbon, pintucks, and pink and green floral trim; a matching bonnet, a long slip, and pantaloons.
