Sterling Silver is the most popular silver alloy in the world for jewelry. Sterlingsilver (.925 silver) is an alloy consisting of 92.5% fine silver and 7.5% other metals (usually copper). Jewelry makers use sterling silver because of its strength and durability, fine silver alone is soft andto easily damaged to be used for jewelry. Cleaning Process

Each piece is washed in warm water with mild detergent to remove dirt and oils.

It is then Electrolytically cleaned in hot water with Sodium Carbonate to remove tarnish.

Items with porous stones such as Opals and Turquoise are cleaned differently.

Then they are lightly scrubbed with a special scrubbing agent to clean behind settings and remove any left behind tarnish.

Once dry each piece is inspected,quickly polished, weighed, sized, numbered, photographed and packaged.
