This listing is for a primitive Fall and/or Halloween decoration that has been created by me for your seasonal display! The prim jack-o-lantern....displayed on the front of a vintage garden cultivator tool....would look delightful hanging from a peg on a shelf, on a cupboard door or on your covered front porch door. It can be hung anywhere you would like a bit of Fall or Halloween spirit!
The jack-o-lantern is made out of osnaburg with a layer of cotton batting inside. I used a running stitch to create the pumpkin \"lines\". I color washed the jack-o-lantern with Pumpkin Spice paint mixed with my coffee/vanilla stain. I then used wool scraps to create his face...the pieces are hand stitched in place. I used a small twig for the stem. The pumpkin measures about 4\" by 4\"....not including the stem.
I securely wired the jack-o-lantern to a vintage wood handled garden cultivator tool. It has a wonderful aged patina. I painted a stem of cedar black and placed it behind the jack-o-lantern. I tied a prim tag.....with the words \"Happy Halloween\" stamped on it....to the wire attached for hanging.
Overall, this decoration measures about 9-1/2\" long.
