A Primitive, round wooden Bread Board, American or English, 19thC. Hardwood-Carved with very-desirable Wheat Sheaf surround. Upper border, finely-carved simply: \"spare not\", in high relief.Condition: Very good overall with utilitarian wear (mainly on perimeter) consistent with age and use. The backside also shows cut marks and wear, probably for general, everyday cutting. Superb coloration and patina throughout. Very well made. No cracks or repairs; sits essentially flat.
