Small Primitive Antique Folk Art Weather Vane
Very Nice Primitive Folk Art Rooster Weather Vane. Hand cut out of metal - I think it is a heavy copper - it is tarnished but the copper color shows through in the light. He is mounted on an arrow with a great cut out Feather on the back of the arrow. The back side of the arrow has small metal rods for stability. In good antique condition with wear and remains of soldering or welding from when it was made.
The little Rooster Weather Vane is mounted on a wood block that is painted white. It can be removed from the block easily.
The arrow measures 18\" long, the rooster is 7\" wide and 8\" tall. On the wood base, the piece measures 20\" tall.
Nice early Folk Art Primitive Rooster Weather Vane. Great size for indoor display on a mantle, shelf or table.
