This adorable mammy doll with her bundle of babies will hangor sit on the edge of a shelf without support. She is 18 in. from the top ofher head to the bottom of her feet.
Her body is made with aged muslin fabric. She is painted,baked and sanded for a nice primitive look. Her babies are made the same.
Mammy has a needle sculpted nose and stitched mouth and eyes.Her hair is soft wool needle felted to her head. She wears a tea dyed scarf tiedaround it.
The white colors in the photos show much lighter than theyactually are; they are tea dyed and a softer color.
She wears a long dress made with aged gingham homespunfabric. She wears an apron made with an antique scarf.
Her babies each are placed inside a bunting made with variousfabrics. Three of them wear little bonnets of lace and knit. So cute, with eachhaving their own facial expressions painted with artist\'s pencils.
